Thanks to the kind generosity of Sherborne Castles Rotary club, Lets Help Our Primary School Children, the Sherborne based charity arranged a visit for 60 children from Abbey Primary school to Clive Farrels wonderful butterfly farm and Wilderness adventure.
The visit was a great success, Jo Maidment of Sherborne Rotary said “It was lovely see the children’s enchantment with the whole ethos of Ryewater Nursery. Sitting in the “electric chair “ surrounded by children’s exited chatter was the highlight of the day.” Lisa Thompson the head of Abbey Primary and the teachers who visited said:
“What a fabulous, magical experience that our children will remember for a life time… Our Guides obvious passion and enthusiasm for nature absolutely made the day.”
Clive Farrell said that the children absolutely loved their day out with comments such as:
“It was the coolest day ever” “I like the giants chair” “I liked it when the butterfly landed on me” “It was an amazing day out which me and my friends loved. I loved releasing the Moth and tasting some of the unusual vegetables. I would love to come again.”
