Local charities, event organisers, show supporters and Rotarians gathered in glorious sunshine at Sherborne Castle on Monday to distribute funds raised at the 2018 Sherborne Classic and Supercar show.
Edward and Maria Wingfield Digby, owners of the Sherborne Castle Estate and Presidents of the show, presented a cheque for £10,000 to a representative of the Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance, who were the headline beneficiaries of the show.
The three Rotary clubs who make this event happen were also presented with cheques representing the final part of the Rotary contribution to the Dorchester Hospital Cancer Ward fund.
A further 17 charities, all located within 30 miles of Sherborne, where awarded donations as a result of activities at the show. This is the full list.
