You very generously gave a total of £2,463 in our street collections last weekend. This is enough to purchase 4 shelter boxes for homeless people in the Philippines, in addition to the 2 that our club has donated.
In addition to this we have pledges for further funds which will go straight to Shelterbox which means that the money you have given will all be used to purchase and ship these much needed temporary homes.
Thank you very much to everyone for supporting our fund raising, it is very much appreciated.
Update January 2014
With some very generous donations, the total raised by the Rotary Clubs of Sherborne, Sherborne Castles, and Sherborne Inner Wheel amount to £4,000. All this has gone to Shelterbox to provide homes for people of the Philippines while they re-build their lives.
